1. Is listed among the top 40 in all four major ranking systems, the WAGR (37), Scratch Players (27), Golfweek (23) and Golfstat (9).
2. Has three college tournament wins to his credit this season, the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, Arizona Intercollegiate and National Invitational Tournament.
3. Played for Team Europe at the 2013 Palmer Cup and is currently ranked second in this year’s player standings.
4. Aided France to a third-place finish at the 2013 European Amateur Team Championship.
5. Helped lead Cal to the semifinals of the 2013 NCAA Championships, the first event of the current award’s season.
6. Has placed among the top 15 in six of nine collegiate events with an overall scoring average of 71.79.
7. Played in the Amateur Championship as well as the Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or last summer.
8. Is a finalist for the 2014 Byron Nelson Award, awarded to a senior based on collegiate academic and golf career as well as character and integrity.
