Attend The Dinner

The Ben Hogan Award is presented to the nation’s top collegiate male golfer based on all amateur competitions over the previous 12 months. The annual black-tie dinner takes place at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, and features each of the three finalists in attendance. The 2025 event is scheduled for Monday, May 19.

Over the years, the event has hosted a distinguished list of featured guests, including Lance Barrow, Brandel Chamblee, Charles Coody, Ben Crenshaw, Bruce Devlin, Dan Jenkins, Peter Kostis, Tom Lehman, Bruce Lietzke, Collin Morikawa, Jim Nantz, Corey Pavin, Jon Rahm, Charlie Rymer, Dave Stockton, Pat Summerall, Ken Venturi, and Lanny Wadkins.

The presentation style mirrors that of the Heisman Trophy ceremony, with each finalist’s year in golf being highlighted. The event is also aired live on the internet. In addition to national recognition, each of the finalists receives grants for their respective university’s men’s golf scholarship program.
